Weekly Summary: Week Four!

I started off this week with writing my own blog post on my photography experience and how I can improve my photography work. It’s here: http://sarasciulla.com/uncategorized/photo-reflection/ .

Reflect on Cinematography:

I chose to watch The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance on Netflix. The black and white cinematography inspires a lot of dramatic emotions as we invest ourselves in this old Western film. A few demonstrations of aspects of film:

I then completed some visual assignments:

Love at First Shot

Recreate a Famous Movie Scene! 2.0

And I created a photoblitz as well!

Throughout the photography portion of this week, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve been around photography all my life, and think it expresses emotions and thoughts well without using words. I would love to learn more about photograph or take another class in it, if it were offered here at Mary Washington. I really enjoyed learning how photography can be enhanced in Digital Storytelling as well! 🙂
